(a) i would follow you anywhere in the world you’d care to go. but i don’t trust you. 这里的重点是不信任，所以不会去。
(b) i would follow you anywhere in the world you’d care to go, though i don’t trust you. 这里的重点是会去，尽管存在不信任。
jane used to live next door to us. i haven‘t seen her in years, though.
aren’t you the clever little devil, though!
第四，如果though表示although或even though【比although语气强】的意思，也就是despite the fact that的含义，它应该放在句首，起到对比作用。例如：
although it was raining, we went for a walk.
(a) although it was raining, we went for a walk. 但不能说although we went for a walk, it was raining.【逻辑上不通，因为rain不可能考虑walk这一事实】。可以说we went for a walk, although it was raining.
(b) it was raining, but we went for a walk. 【重点是去散步】 we went for a walk, but it was raining. 【重点是下雨了】
although she was not feeling well, but she went to work.
